Soaring above the skies of Las Vegas/Boulder City and into the Grand Canyon, this tour takes guests aboard in complete luxury on a state of the art EC-130 EcoStar jet helicopter. Take in sights such as the historic Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Grand Wash Cliffs, and extinct volcanoes on your way to the Grand Canyon. Descend 4,000 feet to the depths of the Grand Canyon itself. Touch down by the banks of the Colorado River in time to explore the pristine Native American Hualapai Lands. Upon landing on the canyon floor, you will enjoy time to walk around and explore. I recently took the Grand Canyon landing tour by helicopter and it was nothing short of fantastic! They picked us up on time from the MGM and took us to their heli terminal. It was about a 20 minute ride to the terminal. We watched a short safety video, checked in for our flight and off we went! The views from the helicopter were absolutely amazing. After flying over the Hoover Dam, it was a short flight to the West Rim. We landed near the Colorado river and had a picnic lunch with some champagne. The pilot was nice enough to take our picture with our camera next to the helicopter. These are memories that my wife and I will have for the rest of our lives. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends and family who are visiting Las Vegas.
