Papillon Unveils Golden Helicopter

The Papillon Group (who we recently ranked our #1 Grand Canyon tour company) has unveiled a brand new “Golden Helicopter” to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. The Airbus EC130 T2 helicopter was showcased at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) HELI-EXPO 2015 from March 3rd – 6th in Orlando, Florida, and marks the 50th annivesary for the largest and longest running helicopter tour company in the world.

Papillon plans to officially release the state-of-the-art helicopter to the public on Thursday, April 16, as part of their 50th anniversary celebration in Las Vegas, Nevada. After the celebration, Goldenrod (what we’re calling it here at VCT) will become a regular member of the tour fleet.
